What Is and Is Not Included in Every Plan

Read this before you subscribe — no surprises on the invoice.

Every Bureau of Austin plan includes onboarding documentation, a paper-trading verification period, and access to the monitoring dashboard. Broker API fees — where your broker charges them — are billed directly by the broker and are not included in our subscription. Data feed costs for backtesting use the tick data your broker already exposes via its API at no additional charge. Custom integrations for brokers outside the standard catalogue, multi-currency account handling, and bespoke risk-control modules are available on request at a separately quoted project rate. We do not take a share of trading profits or impose per-trade commissions.

Pricing Questions We Hear Most Often

Clear answers about billing, upgrades, and what happens if you cancel.

Can I upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle?

Yes. Plan changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. If you upgrade, you will receive a prorated credit for the unused days on your current plan applied to the first invoice at the new rate. Downgrading follows the same cycle-boundary rule — your current plan remains active until the period ends.

Is there a free trial or demo account?

We offer a 14-day paper-trading demo for the Starter plan. You connect a broker paper account (all three supported brokers provide this free of charge), and the engine runs your strategy against live market data without placing real orders. At the end of 14 days, you decide whether to activate a paid subscription.

What happens to my strategies if I cancel?

Upon cancellation, live strategy execution stops at the end of the billing period. You retain the right to export your strategy definition files and all historical backtest reports in JSON and PDF formats. Dashboard access closes 7 days after the subscription ends to allow for data export.
